I often find myself looking for something the recipient is sure to appreciate, but something that is also unique. But so much effort takes a considerable amount of time in the season where there never seems be enough.
We’re always excited to learn about people, companies and organizations working together to find new and innovative ways to use recycled plastics.
On November 17, 2011, ACC and LA’s BEST joined forces celebrate the successful completion of the 2011 Go H2O! challenge. 25,000 LA’s BEST students participated in the two week challenge where they learned about healthy habits and recycling. As part of the Go H2O! Challenge, ACC provided LA’s BEST participants at 187 sites in Los Angeles with reusable and recyclable water bottles and measurement charts to track progress of how much water students are drinking and how many items they are recycling in their communities on a daily basis.
