I’ll be the first to admit: I never thought much about recycling. I mean, I knew it was good to do for the environment and that it helps keep our communities clean, but that was about it. Now, the Diamond Bar Soccer League is inspired. The Recycle.Goal.contest has opened our eyes to many new possibilities.

I’m happy to share some great news to kick-off America Recycles Day today. The recycling bins we’ve placed in key spots along California’s coastline are on track to divert over 90,000 lbs (or 45 tons) of plastic from the waste stream this year and over 105 tons of other materials.

ACC recently had the pleasure of spending a Sunday morning with the LA’s BEST community to announce the Go H2O! Challenge. The Challenge, now in its second year, is an exciting way to educate more students and families in Los Angeles about recycling and healthy habits. You can read more about the challenge here.
